This three-hour introduction provides an A-Z overview of typical sequence analysis work flows before walking through key parts of Bioconductor's annotation and genomic ranges infrastructure. A short RNASeq work flow highlights the statistical challenges facing differential expression analysis and the computational solutions provided by DESeq2 (and other packages). The tutorial concludes with development of a small 'shiny' application to visually explore high-throughput sequence data. The tutorial was offered prior to the useR! 2015 meeting.
