I do not know how (or whether it is worth) correcting this
For others please check before pushing changes that you have not introduced duplicate commits. For some it will be easier and more straight forward to simply replace the master branch of an existing github repository with the master branch from git.bioconductor.org, following the 'Force Bioconductor master to Github master' scenario at http://bioconductor.org/developers/how-to/git/abandon-changes/.
