I'm facing problem in installing flowClust package which is hampering the loading of openCyto.

It is showing the error as

Installing package(s) ‘flowClust’
Package which is only available in source form, and may need compilation of C/C++/Fortran:
  ‘flowClust’
  These will not be installed
installation path not writeable, unable to update packages: foreign, Matrix.

Can u please help me in rectifying this and install flowClust!

Do you have system admin rights on the computer you are trying to use?   Please also include the command you used to try to install, the output, and the results of running `sessionInfo()` .

This sounds similar to this support site question: Installation of samr package on R v3.4 mac OS Sierra  .  It might be that you are missing some system dependency or the fortran or C compilers in order to install the package correctly.

Also it appears that the `flowClust` package has not build correctly on Bioconductor 3.5 so the maintainer might have to make some changes before it will become available.
