I apologize if this information is already available somewhere.   Is there a way to invoke samtools reheader using Rsamtools?

I would like to use Rsamtools to read BAM files that have headers that Rsamtools does not seem to support.   It works fine if I edit or replace the header first.   Is there some way that I could do this within a script that uses Rsamtools?
