Hi. I have used DESeq2 to performed differential analysis.

And now I would like to plot the data using transformed values "rld", but not sure how to determine the means for the biological duplicates. The simplest way I could think of is use the arithmetic means. For normal log transformation, that would means using the geometric means of the biological duplicates. But even for that I am not sure that it is a legitimate way to do, let alone "rlog".

Any recommendation, thanks!

hi,

I would take the simple arithmetic mean of rlog values if I wanted a "middle point".

@Michael Love, answer straightforward enough, thanks!
