Well, quite easy to setup. It is the keeping it up to date part that
is difficult.
I would like to see a a NEWS-like file get updated on a monthly basis
with
notes on what has changed in which packages.
I would be willing to create a script that extracts information from
the source control system, svn, and creates some type of summary
report, but this would need to be parsed by a human and put into such
a NEWS file. If someone is wiling to commit to update the file for
six months, I will produce the script. Any takers?

The only difference is the removal of some unnecessary variables in
the
computation of background using the fullmodel (default) for
justGCRMA().
These changes had already been made in gcrma() and I made justGCRMA()
compatible.
This change was actually posted on this listserv by Seth Falcon maybe
2-3 weeks ago.

An actual CHANGES or NEWS file (similar to that for R itself) might be
nice, but I don't know how that stacks up in the list of worthwhile
things to do vs person-hours available to do things. Seth Falcon would
know better how easy/difficult this would be to set up.

Seth: There are already several svn2cl scripts (per google). I'm
currently
still on cvs, so I've been making good use of cvs2cl.pl to auto
generate
Changelogs, from which NEWS is easy to construct.
