I was working with some illumina EPIC data and trying to determine the epigenetic age of samples for whole blood. I know that on Horvath's website there is an online calculator for whole blood, but the code doesn't seem to be provided. Also, in the vignette for minfi, in section "Other stuff" there is a sub-heading 'Horvath Age Estimation'. Has this been implemented in minfi? Or is there any other package that implements the epigenetic clock algorithm?

I would willing to put effort into this (along with others in my group) if we can get some of the underlying code, particularly the "advanced method" which is only available in the online calculator.
