Entering edit mode
Hello,
I am trying to post a job opportunity on this forum and am having trouble getting it to accept my post. I've followed the FAQ, set the post type to "Post a Job Opening" and used markdown formatting to create the post. However, when I go to hit "Submit", the body of the message is highlighted in red and does not post:
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! Could it be possible that you have a character that is not allowed? I have just recently posted a question and I had problems too, all the message was highlighted in red and no error was appearing... I changed some parts, removed others until I found the problematic one and I was able to submit my post.
After having posted, I tried to keep the text that I removed and the error appeared:
So...you may have a character that it doesn't allow to submit the post... (?) Maybe it is other thing in your case and I cannot help you, but just in case it will be worth it to try/check.

Hi I also had that problem. I was copy-pasting from a terminal window (MobaXterm) the output of an R session, and it contained the slanted apostrophe characters. Changing them to regular (straight) apostrophes (in Notepad++) did the trick.
