Position title: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Continuing, full-time appointment)

The School of Chemistry and Molecular Bioscience at the University of Wollongong is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and successful individual to conduct independent, high-quality research and quality teaching primarily in the area of Bioinformatics/Computational Biology as it relates to the fields of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biophysics, and/or Cell and Molecular Biology.

Whilst all areas of expertise will be considered, candidates with the ability to develop a research program that capitalises on the existing world-class infrastructure at the University of Wollongong, as well as the capacity to apply bioinformatics and computational biology approaches across various “omics” technologies and other forms of high-content data is highly desirable.
