Hi, I would like to know how to remove the box frame surrounding the vennDiagram plot for limma. I also would like to label the total number in the corner, like: "Total: ...". Thank you.

If you remove all lines containing the rect() function, it works (can put lines 72, 73, 127 and 205 of VennDiagram script as comments)

There aren't any arguments to vennDiagram that will do what you want. You could always get the sources and adjust to suit, or petition Gordon to make the changes, but otherwise you are stuck with the default behavior.

I am not sure what i would need to change in the source though

Well, that's beyond the scope of this support site. If you want to hack at the source code, the onus is on you to figure out what you are doing. But do note that the rect function is what one uses to draw a rectangle in a plot device.
