diagnostic test for outliers called Cook’s distance caused DESeq2 (version 1.10 vs 1.30) have big different result? anyone find similar issue?

There was an addition in 1.21.9, see https://bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/news/DESeq2/NEWS

Software changes over time, I'd use the most recent one.
