I am trying to get a table of GSE data I have but I get the following error:

"Error in (function (classes, fdef, mtable) : unable to find an inherited method for function ‘Table’ for signature ‘"GSE"’ "

The code in R studio is this:

library(GEOquery)

gds <- getGEO(filename = "GSE7535_family.soft.gz")

geData <- Table(gds)

sessionInfo( )

In your code above, gds is an ExpressionSet, not a GEODataset.

class(gds)

To learn more about an ExpressionSet object and how to use it:

help("ExpressionSet")

There is no Table method for an ExpressionSet object. To get a matrix of gene expression values, you could do:

geData=exprs(gds)
