A joint appointment with the Advanced Technology & Biology Division would be considered favourably depending on the interests of the candidate.

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will hold a PhD or equivalent qualification and will have completed post-doctoral work resulting in an outstanding record of scientific achievements. Their research focus will be aligned with the division and the institute. A history of a highly innovative and collaborative approach to research would be highly valued. Women and early-career researchers are especially encouraged to apply.

Terms of appointment

This position is available for 7 years, maximum-term in a full-time capacity, renewable thereafter based on performance review, with underwriting for research and salary support during this period. Salary and appointment level dependent on experience. Up to 17% superannuation and very attractive salary packaging options are available.

General enquiries can be directed to Gordon Smyth smyth@wehi.edu.au or Melissa Davis davis.m@wehi.edu.au.
