Hi All! I have tried to process 24 Affymetrix HGU133plus2 chips. I can load them, make RMA, but all other normalisation methods fail (vsn, dchip, mas5), with the message: "cannot allocate a vector of size 243457 kb". In have tried to set the memory limit to 2048 and to 3000000000. (I have 2Gb RAM in a dual xeon computer, so the hardware should not be the problem.) Is there a way to solve this problem? Thank you for your help.
