We seek a research-oriented computational biologist to carry out methodological development and applied research projects within a multidisciplinary programme in integrative systems biology of tumorigenesis. More information can be found at http://www.mrc-cu.cam.ac.uk/samarajiwa.html
The successful candidate will have a PhD in computational biology or a related discipline (systems biology, computer science, software engineering, statistical or computational genomics). Evidence of a multidisciplinary skill set (A good understanding of statistics, mathematics, computer programming and their applications in biomedicine) and experience with NGS data analysis, cancer genomics and R / Bioconductor would be an advantage.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
