after upgrading R 1.5 & Bioconductor 1.0 to versions 1.6.1 and 1.1,
respectively, I often get the following:
Warning message:
only first element of `description' argument used
Can you tell me what causes this and whether my installation went
wrong?

Can you give a bit more information as to under what sort of
circumstances
you're getting these warnings?

Hi,
I desperately seek to find the version 2 of the Affy package for R as
described in the Vignette "textual description of affy" by November
12th 2002 and in the article "Exploration, Normalization and
summaries of high density oligonucleotide array probe level data" R.A
Irizarry et al. Can someone please help me find out where to download
this newest version of Affy for R?

Version 2 is actually version 1.1.
