I am trying to use Bioconductor to read the Affy Mapping 10K chip. The chip name is XBA142_EA. I created the CDF environment, using "makecdfenv" and added the environment to my Bioconductor libraries. My problem now is that I am trying to find the chromosomal locations for the probes on this chip. I see it is possible with other enviroments, such as HGU* chips but I'm unable to get these locations for the XBA142 chips. I think I'm missing something but I'm not sure what it is. Does anyone else use this chip with Bioconductor, or can anyone offer a solution, so that I can get the probes chromosomal location (and which Chromosome it belongs too as well).
