Hi, I need to compute the correlation coefficient for expression data from the results of an eBayes result from a continuous variable linear model run with limma. I have thus far not been able to locate documentation on how to achieve this, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You might save yourself a lot of confusion from reading the free "Introduction to R" [1]. More specifically, try typing ? cor into the R command line. Or does he mean the estimated array-wide correlation coefficient coming out of ?duplicateCorrelation. The question is poorly worded.
