Hi bioconductor mailing list,
I am confused about a publication that utilizes Affymetrix microarrays
of
type "HT HG-U133A". In this study they present data about SOX6, but as
far
as I could find information, there is no probe/probeset in HT HG-U133A
that
detects this. So how did they do this? Is there some non-affy
annotation
that holds this information? Are there custom CDFs that include SOX6?
If so,
I could use this in my own analysis.
The study I'm referring to is "Reference Maps of Human ES and iPS Cell
Variation Enable High-Throughput Characterization of Pluripotent Cell
Lines".
Thanks in advance, Andreas
