Hi I was trying to install CNVtools for a user this afternoon and got an error message back saying CNVtools package is unavailable. This is using the biocLite("CNVtools") method of installation. Any pointers as to what went wrong? Bryan Hepworth Assistant Institute Computing Officer Institute of Human Genetics Newcastle University International Centre for Life Newcastle NE1 3BZ

CNVtools became available in Bioconductor release 2.5 which corresponds to R version 2.10. My guess (and without sessionInfo(), it is only a guess) is that the user has an older version of R and will need to upgrade. Sean
