Hi, I am trying to use the bioconductor affylmGUI package with affymetrix human GeneST 1.0 arrays. However, it seems that the program is unable to find the .cdf file and give an error message indicating that library package hugene10stv1cdf can not be found. I verified that my version of affylmGUI is working properly by using .cel files from the affy u133 arrays. In addition, I tried to use the ExpressionProfiler website at EMBL ( http://www.ebi.ac.uk/expressionprofiler/), which used bioconductor, and I received the same error message. Any suggestions? Thanks, George ************************************ George Heine, Ph.D. 325 DHRLI 473 W. 12th Ave Columbus, OH 43210 Tel: (614) 292-8987 George.Heine@OSUMC.edu ************************************ [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Hi George, It looks like you might need a cdf package for this platform. You should be able to generate a "hugene10stv1cdf" package pretty easily by using the makcdfenv package: http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/devel/bioc/html/makecdfenv.html You would also need the source cdf files from Affy which could be found here: http://www.affymetrix.com/support/technical/byproduct.affx?product =hugene-1_0-st-v1 Marc George Heine wrote: > Hi, > > I am trying to use the bioconductor affylmGUI package with affymetrix human > GeneST 1.0 arrays.
