Hi, source("http://bioconductor.org/biocLite.R") update.packages(repos=biocinstallRepos(), ask=FALSE) I used the above commands to update the packages, which created the directory 'R' in my home directory. Later, my system administrator installed the updates system wide (the system is linux). I'm wondering what the correct procedure is to uninstall my own updates. Regards, Peng

I'm not sure that there is such a procedure. Nuking the library directories from your ~/R/..../library/* directory (or wherever they were installed) should do just fine. -steve -- Steve Lianoglou Graduate Student: Computational Systems Biology | Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center | Weill Medical College of Cornell University Contact Info: http://cbio.mskcc.org/~lianos/contact
