The Ph.D. is in the frame of The International Doctorate in Structural Biology that is in collaboration with the Biozentrum of the University of Frankfurt and the Bijvoet Center at the University of Utrecht. (http://www.cerm.unifi.it/home/programs/internationaldoctorate.html). The research project is focused on NMR-based metabolomic studies of biological fluids for metabolic fingerprinting of several diseases. This is a strong multidisciplinary research project: experiments (sample preparation/ NMR spectra acquisition), statistical analysis and data interpretation will be part of research routine. The successful candidate should have a training either in Chemistry/Biochemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Statistical sciences. I like several features of simpleaffy;'s hmap.eset, but it demands an AffyBatch as input. Any ideas about how to coerce a data frame or something, into an AffyBatch (one way to achieve compatibility) would be much appreciated. Tom
