Hi,
I have a post-doc position open in my group here at the FHCRC:
Flow cytometry (FCM) plays a critical role in basic research and
clinical therapy in the areas of cancer, vaccine research, and
detecting changes in immune response, to name but a few areas of
application. There are many exciting new technological developments
that will make FCM data more widely used. However, the increased
complexity greatly increases the need for reliable statistical
methods, and accompanying software implementations, for the analysis
of these data. We are looking for a post-doctoral candidate with good
statistical and computational skills to work on problems that arise in
the analysis of high-throughput FCM data including methods suitable
for the automatic discovery and identification of subpopulations of
cells, and methods for the visualization and quantitative comparison
of FCM data from different samples or patients.
The job postings can be found at: http://www.fhcrc.org/about/jobs/
Please apply for position 21569,
thanks
Robert
