BioConductor Developer Workshop 24 - 25 April 2008 Lausanne, Switzerland This meeting is aimed at active developers as well as prospective developers interested in improving package writing skills and contributing to the BioConductor project. The workshop will be held at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, with English as the working language. Registration is free, but the number of participants is limited to 50. Potential program topics include: -- Exploiting existing libraries (e.g., BOOST, graphviz, ImageMagic, libxml) -- Database interactions -- 'Large' data -- strategies in and out of R -- Representation and data structures for new (non-microarray) data -- Accessing and providing web-based resources The meeting will start on the morning of Thursday 24 April, so you should plan to arrive by the evening before. A more detailed program and additional local information (lodging, transportation, etc) will be posted soon. The closest airport is in Geneva.
