Dear all, I am new to Bioconductor and trying to find the easiest way to do some microarray analysis on a small experiment recently performed. I am interested un using the AMDA package (specifically the widget for ease of use and explaining to others without any coding experience) but appears that has not been updated for the newest versions of R and Bioconductor, specifically having an error about phenoData being depreciated. Does anyone have any suggestions that can circumvent the issue or when will be updated? Thanks Louisa Rispoli "If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be called Research." - Albert Einstein

Hi Louisa, AMDA isn't a BioC package, so this isn't the place to be asking about new updates. According to this page: http://gc-lab32.btbs.unimib.it/genopolisWebsite/genopolis/material/mat tia/private_mattia.htm AMDA is designed for R-2.4.0(!), so you should either be using that version of R and BioC 1.9 or perhaps you could contact one of the authors to see if they are planning to update. Alternatively, you could modify the code yourself, as it is released under the GPL. Dear Louisa, AMDA is not a Bioconductor package yet, we are currently working to update it and submit to Bioc, sorry for the delay, best, mattia #################### Dear all, I am new to Bioconductor and trying to find the easiest way to do some microarray analysis on a small experiment recently performed.
