The page http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/html/affy.html has links to two different affy package versions, with the same text label: Source package download <http: www.bioconductor.org="" packages="" release="" distrib="" source="" affy_1.0="" .1.tar="" .gz=""> Source package download <http: www.bioconductor.org="" packages="" release="" distrib="" source="" affy_1.1="" .0.tar="" .gz=""> The web pages indicate that version 1.0.1 is current, so what is 1.1.0? A typo or a 'unnannounced' new version or devel vision? The text labels for the links should probably be updated to reflect correct the status of the two files. -Greg LEGAL NOTICE Unless expressly stated otherwise, this message is confidential and may be privileged. The current system I had written which autogenerates all those pages is not smart enough to handle by itself version # changes. I go thru it by hand every few days to clean that out. This problem happens most frequently with Affy as they change their version numbers every 3 seconds. As with all the other issues, "this will disappear with the new setup" -J
