Hi Ariel, If you have installed MySQL by RPM, then you will need to install the devel RPM as well in order to have the header and library files. Do you have root access? If so, you should be able to do yum install mysql- devel. If you don't have root access, you will either need to have your sysadmin install the devel RPM for you, or if you have the space in your home directory you could download the sources and install it there.
