z-score with DESeq2?

Hello everyone,

Do you know if it's possible to use Z-score values for counts normalized using DESeq2? My main objective is to get mean values of gene expression for several populations, mainly for visualization objectives.

We have two transformations in DESeq2 for producing log scale data, see here:

So, the procedures would be to perform Z-score on the rlog-transformed data?
