An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Computational Systems Genomics Lab, headed by Prof Andrew Teschendorff, at the CAS-MPG Partner Institute for Computational Biology, Shanghai. The Computational Systems Genomics Lab carries out research at the interface between Machine Learning, Genomics and Cancer, with a special focus on Statistical Cancer Epigenomics, Cancer Systems Biology and Single-Cell Analysis. For more information on our research interests and list of recent publications, see http://www.picb.ac.cn/compsysg.
The post is at the postdoctoral staff scientist level and for 2-years in the first instance, and renewable to 5-years or more depending on performance. The post is available with immediate effect. The postholder will be expected to carry out research in a number of NSFC-funded projects related to cell-type heterogeneity and single-cell analysis, aimed at elucidating systems-biological principles underlying cancer development.
