Does anyone have any experience using R or Bioconductor with an open source database specifically with microarray data? I am hoping to discover a database data management system for microarrays that allows for a half-way decent integration with R. Thanks very much, Dick ********************************************************************** ********* Richard P. Beyer, Ph.D. University of Washington Tel.:(206) 616 7378 Env. & Occ. ive written functions to insert the information in an exprSet into 5 tables in a postgres data base. i halfway to writing one that goes the other way. i used the RPgSQL package. I tried RDBI but I was getting a segmentation fault i couldnt fix. I hear RDBI is much faster.
