Hi, I get an error saying " Cannot allocate vector of size 71289kb". Someone told me to increase the memory limit for R by typing " memory.limit(3000000000), but this doesn't work. Is there any way around this? I apparociate your answer. Thanks, Kristina

Hi Kristina Which system are you using? Please be more specific. On Unix, your system administrator may have set memory limits for you. Type ulimit at the unix prompt. You may want/need to "clean up" before you try to allocate a 70MB chunk. Try "gc()".
